Bird House Hostel Barcelona, Barcelona

My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The room was big enough and comfortable for two people, clean, quiet, in a great location, and overall fantastic. However, it was located right next to the communal/kitchen area, which was awful as other guests were using it as a party room till very late in the night. Upon considering what I paid, the experience was great.

I have to say, my stay at the BirdHouse was quite a mixed experience. On one hand, the location is just perfect; so close to Placa Catalunya and La Rambla, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The rooms, though advertised with all sorts of amenities, turned out to be a bit deceiving as most of the features were actually in the common area. The service was hit or miss, with a mix of helpful and unwelcoming staff. However, the dining situation left a lot to be desired, especially with the confusion over breakfast tickets. Overall, a decent stay with its ups and downs.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms are well-designed and spacious, each with its own bathroom, kitchen, and even a sun terrace. However, it was slightly inconvenient that the room didn't have a lock, leading to unexpected visits that could be annoying at times. The service was excellent, with the staff being patient, passionate, and accommodating. I found the location to be very convenient, especially being right next to the Urgell metro station. The dining options were simple but nearby, although there were some slight issues with ticket distribution. Overall, a good value for the money.
